What a perfect day for the amazing family. We shot at The Gardens at Lake Merritt in Oakland. There is a hidden botanical garden and so many magical backdrops. Here are some of my favorites from our shoot.

Congratulations to this young man on achieving Eagle Scout! What better way to document this goal but with a photo shoot. Check out some of the photos taken at Joaquin Miller Park in Oakland. (Eagle Scout is the highest achievement or rank attainable in the Boy Scouting program of the Boy Scouts of America (BSA). The designation “Eagle Scout” was founded over one hundred years ago. Only four percent of Boy Scouts are granted this rank after a lengthy review process.) WOW!

There is nothing more comfortable then having your family photos taken in the comfort of your home. (No need to clean either! I am a master at cropping and choosing the right angle lol). The sweet little 4 month old was amazing to shoot (her parents too) but I think she stole the show… take a look at a few of my favorites from the shoot and you be the judge.

Repeat clients are the best because I get to see their children grow up! I get to think up new creative ways to pose them and it’s so flattering that they want me to document their life story yet again. Thank you to this family and I look forward to next year and hearing about all your adventures! Such a big park but we were able to tackle the Joaquin Miller stairs, redwood trees, and climb up a few large rocks.
